10 Eat Modes
Use these 10 eat modes in conjunction with one of the 10 exercise modes to achieve your Fit Mode goal.
Eat Mode #1 - 100% Clean Eating Cut Mode
This mode will produce the most rapid and sure-fire weight cut your body is capable of! It is based on a 100% clean, low carb meal plan with no snacking or fun-food. It is the most restrictive of all the eat modes.
Eat Mode #2 - Moderate Weight Cut Mode
This mode is the same as the Extreme Weight Cut Mode except that it has a slightly more expanded menu and it includes some low calorie snacking. It is designed for those who don’t want to eat completely clean and are willing to be a little more patient with their weight cutting.
Eat Mode #3 - Plateau Maintenance Mode
This mode is used in between Eat Mode 1 or 2 weight cuts. This is a critical time when you need a break from cutting but you don’t want to gain any weight back.
Eat Mode #4 - Yo-yo Maintenance Mode
This is where the fun starts! You’ve reached the top of your Target Maintenance Weight Range and the extended periods of weight cutting are over forever. You will use this mode to yoyo between your Lower TMWR and your upper TMWR.
Eat Mode #5 - Stress Eating Mode (Smart Binge)
Inevitably, we will all encounter extremely difficult times in our lives and will feel compelled to turn to “Cheat Treat Food” for comfort. This mode is designed to help us get through tough times without going full-on “Eat Mode 11” (Over Indulgence Mode) and losing all our progress.
Eat Mode #6 - Muscle Building Mode
Once you get your weight under control you can experiment with packing on some muscle, AKA Getting Swole or Bulking-Up.
Eat Mode #7 - High Carb for Runners & Refeed
This mode is for regular or occasional runners and hikers that need extra energy. It also addresses a similar mode called a refeed. A refeed is a bodybuilding technique where carb intake is increased to boost Leptin levels after a period of carb depletion.
Eat Mode #8 - Water Weight Cut Mode
This mode can be used when you have a particular day you want to show off your very best physique, such as a photoshoot or your wedding day. It is a 10-day cut that will fill your muscles with water while removing the water from under your skin at the same time. You will look lean, ripped and it will put your abs on display.
Eat Mode #9 - Ketosis Mode
This mode will put your body in a state of ketosis. It is based on depleting your body of carbs and forcing it to use fat for energy. This mode is also a good tool for getting extremely lean.
Eat Mode #10 - Wildcard Mode
This is a placeholder for any new modes that need to be added to the system.
Eat Mode #11 - Over Indulgence Mode
This is the mode that causes you to gain weight rapidly. These foods and drinks are consumed for pure pleasure and can erase your weight loss gains rapidly. FM10 calls this “getting drunk on food”.
